We publish real numbers because we think you deserve to know whether a project is in your range before you invest time in getting bids. Those numbers are planning tools. They are not quotes, offers, or promises of price.
Every range, per-square-foot figure, example project and calculator result on this site is a starting point drawn from work we have actually done. What your project costs depends on your house, your property, your selections, current material and labor costs, site conditions we cannot see from here, and decisions that have not been made yet.
A price becomes a price when it is in a written proposal we have prepared for your project and both of us have signed it. Nothing on this website creates a contract, and nothing on this website obligates us to perform work at a published figure.
We write about construction because we would rather you go into a project understanding it. What we publish is general information based on our experience in central Pennsylvania. It is not construction, engineering, architectural, legal, financial, real estate or insurance advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional looking at your specific situation.
Codes, ordinances, permit requirements and enforcement vary by municipality and change over time. Site conditions vary from one property to the next. Before you act on something you read here, check it against your own municipality, your own property and the appropriate licensed professional. We link to outside sources where we can, but we are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of anything on another company’s website.

Project photographs show work we performed. Design drawings and renderings show a design as drawn, which is not always identical to what was built. Reviews quoted on this site were written by the people named and are reproduced as they were left.
Sending us a form does not create a business relationship, an employment relationship, or any obligation on our part to respond, to make an offer on a property, or to consider an application. Please do not send confidential information through this site. Anything you do send is handled as described in our privacy policy.

Any dispute arising out of this website will be brought in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. Disputes about construction work we performed are governed by the dispute resolution terms in your signed contract, which control over this page.
